Since childhood Jane has been fascinated
by fabrics. The feel, look, colours and the making of things. In early days
dolls cloths, jackets for pets, covers and dressing up were her hobby. Then
at school blessed with the most enthusiastic and encouraging teacher Jane
learned to make clothes. Academic subjects were cast aside and all energy
and interest channelled into fabrics. With recent environmental concerns,
Jane’s focus is on “Bags”. The end to plastic bags, and
the re-emergence of the “Shopper”. This small item could make
a big change to the threat of Global Warming. With her logo “Baglady”
Jane hopes that carrying a bag will be a stylish statement.
