After completing a three year course
at North Devon College studying art and 3D design, I set up my workshop at
my home surrounded by the wild beauty of Exmoor and the rugged coastline of
North Devon.
Since 1998 wood has been my main choice of medium, all sourced locally from
trees which have been blown down or felled because no longer safe. I mainly
work in Ash, Beech, Sycamore and sometimes Oak as they are more readily available.
My work is mainly one off individual pieces which helps to keep a fresh and
interesting approach.
