Sue has lived in North Devon with
her husband since 1970 where she creates fused glassware from her studio in
Barnstaple. Initial inspiration is taken
from the colours of the sea, preferring to use various shades of blue, green
and azure. Using flat sheets of Bullseye fusible glass as the starting point,
she produces spectacular dishes, bowls and tiles and also a small range of
jewellery.
Her background as a science teacher and, previously as a stained glass artist,
has given her an understanding of the manufacture of glass and its properties,
which in turn has enabled her to develop a product that she is proud to display.
