Sue lives in North Devon where she creates fused glassware and flameworked beads from her studio in Barnstaple. She has trained with internationally acclaimed artists in workshops in Rochester, Leominster, Hazlemere, Shebbear and Corfe Castle to develop her glassmaking techniques. Her initial inspiration is taken from the colours of the sea, preferring to use various shades of blue, green and azure. Using flat sheets of Bullseye fusible glass as the starting point, she produces spectacular dishes, bowls and tiles and also a range of dichroic and beaded jewellery.

Her background as a science teacher and, previously as a stained glass artist, has given her an understanding of the manufacture of glass and its properties, which in turn has enabled her to develop a product that she is proud to display.
