ALISON NOAKES photographer

I have been interested in art and crafts since I was young, having seen my dad paint some beautiful pictures as I was growing up.
I tried various mediums including watercolour painting, stained glass work and jewellery making and finally found my passion in wildlife and nature photography, having been given a camera for my 40th birthday!

Cornfield

Since then I have learnt my art through reading and attending photography days and I completed a diploma in photography in 2014. My friends and family were extremely positive about my photography but it was not until I moved to Torrington in February 2016 that I decided to put my photographs on display in the form of greetings cards and prints for sale. I approached 14 The Gallery and was accepted as an artist and have been happily working there and selling my work since then.
